I have been keeping tabs on Bill Bondsmen for years. First time I saw them play was at Beachland Ballroom with 9 Shocks Terror and Indiana legends, the Zero Boys. It was a spectacular live show and afterwards I just assumed they were from Cleveland. Bondsmen had that raw sound only the Rust Belt could produce. Later on I found out that they were from Detroit. That totally makes sense too. I have always found Cleveland and Detroit to produce the best and most authentic music in every genre. That’s a statement I firmly stand behind. So here we are, almost ten years later. Bill Bondsmen are back with a new album Under The Razor Cuts and I am happy to say that they haven’t gone soft. Someone recently wrote an article for Vice about Detroit Punk and only talked about stuff like Protmartyr, leaving the Bondsmen out. Well this is RUST BELT FUCKING HAMMER and we don’t play around. Add this album to your last minute “best of 2015” lists or fuck off.
